Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup chopped dates (pitted)

  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts

  • 2 tbsp cacao amaro (unsweetened cocoa powder)

  • 1/4 cup ghee (melted)

  • 2-3 tbsp water (adjust as needed for dough consistency)

  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar (optional, based on sweetness preference)

  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cacao amaro, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar (if using).

  3. Add wet ingredients: Add the melted ghee and water. Stir until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add more water, 1 tsp at a time.

  4. Incorporate dates and pine nuts: Gently fold in the chopped dates and toasted pine nuts until evenly distributed.

  5. Shape the cookies: Use your hands to form small dough balls and slightly flatten them on the baking sheet.

  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden on the edges.

  7. Cool and enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your Tridoshic Bliss Bites—a nourishing treat for balance and vitality!
